FAQ's About Trips

What should I bring fishing?

Come ready for a great day of fishing and enjoy the view as we set off on another Gulfing Adventure.

Here are some things that you may want to bring along.

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses,(polarized if you have them)

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Hat

  • A Snack

  • A favorite drink

  • A camera

Do I need a license?

No, your fishing license is provided while fishing with your guide on the charter.

What equipment will we be using?

We use light tackle and fishing with St. Croix Rods and Shimano Reels with braided line. (Note: You may bring your favorite rod and tackle if you prefer.)

What if it is Raining?

If it is raining at your hotel on the other side of town, it doesn't mean that it is raining at the marina or the places where we are traveling. We have weather radar onboard and monitor the National Weather Service forecast on our VHF radio. We will stay on top of the weather for you.

We have ponchos onboard for everyone if we go through a brief shower, 10 minutes of a passing shower is only a small part of a planned 4 hour charter.

Where do we keep our food or snacks?

A cooler filled with ice and bottled water is provided. You can add your snacks or favorite drinks to the cooler. At the conclusion of the adventure your catch will be filleted and placed in a plastic Ziploc bag.
