ATTENTION ALL ANGLERS
Snook, Tarpon, Bonefish
Catch and release is allowed only on Snook, Tarpon and Bonefish as Stated by the FWC until the dates given below. Please use the following website to learn how to release a fish safely.
Executive order 10-03 temporarily extends closed fishing seasons for snook statewide until September 2010. It also establishes temporary statewide closed seasons for bonefish and tarpon until April because of the prolonged natural cold weather event that caused significant, widespread mortality of saltwater fish in Florida.
Snook season will be closed until September 1st.
