Burials At Sea

Dignified Burials at Sea are available in both Naples and Bradenton, Florida with Gulfing Adventures. Hi, I am Captain Dave, a graduate of Johnson Bible College and an Ordained Minister. I worked in a family owned and operated funeral home as a youth and have shared in the celebration of a loved one’s life and understand the sadness associated with losing those close to us. Trust Gulfing Adventures to assist you at this crossroad in your lives as we provide sincere, respectful burials at sea for your loved ones.

Burial services are available either unattended or attended with up to six-passengers. Your loved ones ashes will be taken and scattered upon the Gulf at a predetermined location by latitude and longitude and identified with a certificate.

Families have the option of requesting a spiritual service including scripture and recognition of life after death pointing to God or they may choose to say good-bye in their own special way.

Burials at sea will take place within 14 days of receiving your loved ones. Please be assured that your loved ones cremated remains will be handled in a professional and respectful manor at all times. Remains can be mailed through the United Postal Service or delivered directly to Captain Dave.

We understand that sometimes is it not possible to attend services. Rates for Unattended services begin at $100.00 depending on location and distance. Flowers and flower wreaths can be released provided they are biodegradable and can be arranged by a local florist and delivered to Gulfing Adventures. Ashes will be scattered on the water or may be deposited in a biodegradable urn that you provide or with prior coordination can be obtained.

Rates for Attended Services begin at $200.00 and are limited to six loved ones. Service arrangements will be planned prior to leaving the dock and will be flexible to accommodate the family’s request. Loved ones may share memories, poems, and songs, as we scatter the ashes upon the water.

Flower arrangements may be made at several local florists. A list can be provided upon request. After or during the service, your flowers may be set adrift as a symbol of your love.
