The Bite is ON! The trout are here and active in Terra Ceia Bay and Mackerel are are moving in. Most trout are under 15' but everyone loves catching fish. Use a live shrimp under a popping cork or mirror lures red/gold a hot item.

Beaware while releasing your small fish because the kormoran birds are quick swimmers and they will take advantage of your release. They appear to be very aggressive right now and not afraid of the angler.

Big macks in the passes and channels... sharks are hitting on the southside of Tampa Bay.

Naples Bay Area

Fish on... Fish are active in the channels, wrecks and passes. The bite seems to be the best early in the morning right now so get out before noon and enjoy. Macs and trout are good, and I have seen snook around docks. Remember Snook are catch and release till September.
